Hannah has been brilliant and I couldn't have done my first marathon without her! Marathon training is very time consuming, however Hannah tailored my programme to fit around my busy schedule and ensured that I could still do my strength training. She helped me navigate the fuelling elements of marathon training (which are vital!) and deal with the mental highs and lows too, using her own experience.

I had always had a little itch to run a marathon one day but it was never the right time and I was always just a little frightened that I wouldn’t actually be able to do it. Hannah not only encouraged me to sign up, making me feel that it would be doable, but then made it possible by providing me with a 16-week training schedule. She drew up the plan after talking through what would be realistic in terms of the time I had so that it was all manageable. She then checked in with me throughout the process giving encouragement and motivation, thus helping me stick to the plan. Having a really clear plan made the training so much easier. I was amazed how gradually I built up the distance in a methodical, step-by-step way and was ready to complete those 26.2 miles come marathon day. I would not have done it without her!

Hannah wrote my training plan and coached me for the Race to the Stones 100km race in July and I couldn't have asked for a more supportive coach. She planned sessions around my schedule, answered my (many!) questions in the run up and regularly checked in to make sure I was ok. I always felt that she believed 100% I would finish the race, which is invaluable mental support when we're talking about 100km! I'd recommend her as a coach to anyone looking to improve their running generally or take on a big personal challenge.
